UPDATE: March 23, 2025 Beware and proceed with caution if you are even thinking about buying a door from David. Read all the reviews and believe what everyone is saying. We waited two years for our door with months of excuses. Our door was finally ready after two years and our home burned down. David would not return our money and was very rude. It was a real hassle dealing with him and all he does is make excuses. He will probably respond to this review like he does with all the negative reviews. ( He has tried to rectify the situation or he is not aware of the issue). Please do all your homework before purchasing. I would hate for anyone else to have to go through what we all experienced. I reached out to the Better Business Bureau as well!!! I have never dealt with a more unethical company in my life!! They sent someone out to take measurements and then ordered the door incorrectly based on measurements that they transcribed incorrectly. We have asked for a refund after waiting a year but they only offered to order a new door. Why would we wait another year on something that is clearly their fault?? Please read the Better Business Bureau reviews on them before you even deal with them. I'm sure their response will be the generic response that they send to everyone that they do their best to fix things!!! What a joke. Do yourself a big favor and check out other companies that have stellar reviews. Do not make the mistake we did as well as the others on this platform!!!! Also, please don't respond back that you don't know who we are.

UPDATE: February 13th 2025 This company and the owner David is a BIG don't even think about purchasing ANYTHING from. Just read ALL the reviews on Yelp. The issues are ALL the same. He always has the same answer, instead of taking responsibility he blames it on everyone else. Even after our home burned down on (Jan 7th ) to the ground in the recent fires, ( Pacific Palisades) he still will not do the right thing. He will write a reply and the reply is always the same thing. Stay Away!!! He will reply that he tried do the right thing, he will reply we approved the door, He will reply his company doesn't give refunds, He will reply he's not responsible for the contractor that he sent to our home who took the measurements, same old reply's. We all can't be wrong. OCT 24th 2023: Make sure you read the complaints on Better Business Bureau before you even think about using this company. It will explain what other customers are saying. NOT GOOD!! UPDATE:AUGUST 25th 2023. FBS FINALLY agrees that the door was made the wrong size. They offered to manufacture a new door or repair the defective door or $4,600.00. You can't repair this door and make it the way we wanted it. I'm sure their reply will say something different. We waited 9 months before the door even made it to Miami. Why would we deal with a company that always put blame on us? Why would we wait 9months more for a new door? The right thing to do was refund the FULL amount. Which they still refuse to do. Not $4,600.00 on a door we paid $14,800.00. I'm sharing this review to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else. Thank you. Be careful with this company. Ordered my door Nov 2nd 2022 and we still haven't received it. It's June 13th 2023. It hasn't even got to the USA. Also, the contractor they sent to my house that installs FBS doors took full correct measurements and were sent to David owner of FBS (email provided if needed ) was made wrong. Go over your contract with a microscope because it ONLY protects FBS not you. FBS: Concerning the measurements, it's important to clarify that the independent contractor who took the measurements is not a representative of FBS. This contractor was suggested to help you with the installation estimation and the measurements provided by him served as a guide for our design, which was ultimately approved by you. MY REPLY: The contractor is your contractor who was installing FBS doors. You sent him to my house. He gave you the correct measurements. I have a email from him to you with the correct measurements. You gave the wrong measurements to your team and that is why it's not correct. I never gave you ANY measurements. So you guys made the mistake. Yes, I did sign the contract. I wouldn't have known if they were wrong or not to be honest. I trusted the person you sent. I'm a customer not a contractor. It's over 8 months and that is why I wanted to cancel. The door is not even in the USA. This review is only for someone who is thinking of buying a door from FBS. Watch out and read everything. They WILL NOT look after you if you make any mistake. Anyone reading this will understand what happened. I didn't have a lawyer write my review. I'm a customer telling 100% the truth how this happened. UPDATE Sept 24th 2023: You have the option of doing the right thing. Instead, your solution was to offer us a new door, which would take another 9 months or to install a door that is too big. Again the company that you sent over to take the measurements has installed FBS doors. This was your recommendation. Please stop writing that the door was made to our specifications. You transcribed the measurements incorrectly. I NEVER approved via signature any drawings that is false. You know that and still have not been able to provide that paperwork. I signed a contract yes that had a size of a door which I trusted was the correct size. The contractor you sent gave YOU the correct measurements. I have the email to prove that. Your future customers should see this and know this before they do business with you. Be very careful.

took substantial deposit, promised installation by christmas, does. not respond to any communications now, came out and took measurements and measured wrong, 2 years later and no door , no money and no contact

Do not use this company! They are an absolute joke...their initials live up the their name...FBS!
